Bio

Zhicheng was a QuICS Postdoctoral Scholar from 2019 to 2022.  He received his Ph.D from Boston University in 2019, supervised by Prof. Claudio Chamon. He is a condensed matter theorist interested in quantum many-body physics, topological phases of matter, quantum computation, and topics arising at the interface of these directions. In particular, he is currently interested in quantum entanglement and entanglement spectrum in many-body systems, realization of topological phases of matter using available hardware and experimental techniques, and its potential application for (topological) quantum computation.   In August 2022, Zhicheng will be an Assistant Professor at Peking University.
