Bio
Simon Lieu received his PhD in condensed matter theory from Imperial College London in 2019. His research interests include open quantum systems, topological phases of matter, and quantum error correction. He was a visiting researcher at the University of Cambridge before joining NIST and the University of Maryland as an NRC Fellow from 2020 to 2022.
