Bio
Guoming Wang was a postdoctoral researcher in QuICS. His research focused on quantum algorithms and quantum complexity theory. In particular, he seeked to develop novel quantum algorithms for solving linear equations and differential equations and to understand the limitation of quantum computers for these tasks. He received his doctorate in computer science from UC Berkeley in 2014. Wang held a postdoctoral fellow position in the Institute for Quantum Computing at the University of Waterloo between 2014 and 2015.
